The NSW Government launched the Dine and Discover NSW voucher scheme to encourage the community to get out and about, to support  dining, arts and tourism businesses, and to stimulate spending in the economy. 

The NSW Government has launched Dine & Discover NSW to encourage the community to get out and about and support dining, arts and recreation businesses.

NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for 4 x $25 vouchers, worth $100 in total.

How does it work?

Every NSW resident aged 18 and over will be eligible for four $25 vouchers worth $100 in total. The vouchers can be used at participating NSW businesses that are registered as COVID safe.

The Dine & Discover NSW vouchers will be divided into two categories:

  • two $25 vouchers to be used for eating in at restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, wineries and clubs
  • two $25 vouchers to be used for entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music, and arts venues.

The vouchers:

  • can be used 7 days a week, including public holidays.
  • can be used at participating NSW businesses that are registered as COVID Safe
  • The Dine & Discover NSW Voucher scheme has been extended. You now have until 30 June 2022 to use your vouchers.

Update - Takeaway meals

Dine & Discover vouchers will be able to be used for takeaway from eligible and registered Dine businesses during the restriction period.

Delivery direct to the home by the restaurant or café is recommended. Food may be picked up from the venue but check in with a QR code is required.

Dine & Discover vouchers cannot be redeemed for takeaway using third party delivery platforms. 

How do I apply for the vouchers?

To participate in Dine and Discover NSW, you must have a MyServiceNSW account. You can download the Service NSW app now and register for a MyServiceNSW account.

Where can I use the vouchers?

The Dine and Discover NSW business finder allow you to search for registered businesses of the scheme. By entering a suburb or postcode, you can generate a list of businesses in that location participating in the scheme. You can switch between searching for registered Dine NSW businesses and registered Discover NSW businesses. 

Dine NSW

Two $25 vouchers can be used for dining in businesses such as:

  • cafés and restaurants
  • pubs, taverns, wineries, bars and clubs
  • food courts
  • other foodservice venues.

Discover NSW

Two $25 vouchers can be used for arts and recreation experiences in businesses such as:

  • cinemas
  • museums, galleries and historic sites
  • zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reserves
  • performing arts operations, theatres and entertainment centres
  • amusement, theme and water parks
  • scenic and sightseeing transport
  • outdoor adventures
  • travel agencies and tours
  • recreational activities such as go-karting, indoor climbing, mini-golf, billiards, bowling or ice rinks.
