These ingredients are known for fighting inflammation. They have anti-microbial, antioxidant, and detoxifying properties. This warm drink can help to liquefy mucous and relieve congested sinus.  

Ingredients 

2 cups of boiled water 
3 cloves of finely chopped garlic  
2.5 cm of grated fresh ginger 
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (if you dare to be brave) 
Juice of 1 lemon 
Honey to taste 

Method 

Pour boiled water into a teapot. Add the garlic, ginger and cayenne to the teapot and steep for 10 minutes to infuse. Add the juice of 1 lemon and some honey to taste.  

Sip often.
