Stepping Stones Triple P Seminars

Stepping Stones Triple P is designed specifically for parents of children aged 2 to 12 years with additional needs and can help to reduce emotional and behavioural problems in children. The seminars tackle the most common issues for parents of children with a disability. Each seminar takes just 90 minutes, and you can choose to do one, two or all three. All you need is a tablet or computer to join these seminars! Never done an online seminar? Don’t worry! We will talk you through it.

 

Synapse Reconnections Wagga Wagga

Our peer group in the Wagga Wagga is a regular meet-up for people with brain injury and their support network to connect face-to-face with other individuals living with brain injury and their families. Reconnections groups provide those impacted by brain injury the opportunity to chat, provide support, play games and share some of your challenges, your victories, your tips and tricks. Come and learn from other people’s stories and hear about different experiences of brain injury and issues that are important to you. You will be in a supportive space with people who understand.

Motor Neurone Disease Global Day

MND Australia is the national peak body of state organisations that support those living with and impacted by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Since 1983, they have been the voice for the MND community. Their national and international networks help increase understanding of the disease and advocate for the needs of those affected. They fund world-class research for better treatments, improved care, and ultimately a cure.

Every year the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations celebrates 21 June as the global day of recognition of ALS/MND – a disease that affects people in every country of the globe.
