One Day Sydney I-CAN Facilitator Training

Tuesday, 12 November 2019 at 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

The I-CAN is a support needs assessment, planning and resource allocation tool designed to assess and guide support delivery for people with disabilities, including people with psychosocial disability. Workshop participants will learn to facilitate I-CAN interviews with a client and their circle of support and generate an individual support needs report which helps guide service delivery and planning.

The therapy groups of 3-8 people have given our clients a chance to practice conversation skills and learn about safe dating.  Recently we had an outing to a cafe for drinks and cake.  A young man then asked for chips on his communication device. The group agreed and helped him find a shop selling hot chips. That's what it's all about!
