Our small therapy groups have given our clients a chance to practice conversation skills and learn about safe friendships and dating. The 3 hour session includes an outing to a local cafe.                                               
These workshops will be led by either Liz Dore, Shanna Sergi, Edwidge Josselin, and/or Chloe Heck.

Youth Health Forum 2020

Youth Health Forums are stimulating, half-day forums that cover a wide range of adolescent health and wellbeing issues, appealing to health, education, community, welfare professionals and students. The Forum provides an opportunity for attendees to meet, update knowledge and skills, exchange information and strengthen the youth health network, in order to provide the best possible support for young people in NSW. The March Forum will have a focus on caring for young people who self-harm.  

 

Vocational Support Networks - Western Sydney

The Sydney based regions of the National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program support a number of Vocational Support Networks (VSNs) in the Sydney metropolitan area. The VSNs were originally started and organised by Department of Education Support Teacher Transition (STTs) to bring together stakeholders involved in the transition process for school leavers with disability. As the networks grew in strength, steering committees were established to help ensure the sustainability of the networks.
