Old Dubbo Gaol, a tourist attraction located in Macquarie Street, Dubbo, in Central NSW, strives to be an accessible attraction for all.
The Gaol features accessible ramps into the main building entrances, with additional seating throughout the site. The attraction also has the option for you to book a Sensory Hour session.
During this time, the soundscapes will be turned off (including the talking mannequins), additional light provided in darkened areas, and extra warnings offered for sensitive content.
A social story has also been created as an introductory activity before attending the Gaol.
