Finding the right information from a government department is difficult at the best of times, but looking for Centrelink forms and more during a diagnosis, hospital stay or worse, can feel impossible.
Here are some tips to make finding them just a little easier.
Don’t hesitate to ask the professionals involved to help you find and complete forms.
Most, if not all, Centrelink forms also have a code on them, they usually have a letter and a number. Searching for this can be easier than using the name.
Forms are found on the Services Australia website.
If you get stuck, you can call or visit an office. Centrelink also offer:
- Social workers to talk to
- Financial Information Service Officers to help manage your money
- Translated information in multicultural and Indigenous Australian languages and interpreter services.
You can get copies of some documents online. You will need a myGov account before logging into your Centrelink account. These forms will be completed copies of limited documents.
