A free community education program developed by the Ambulance service of NSW for retirees aged 55 years and over to combat the low level of understanding around medical emergencies.
It addresses the three main reasons why people aged 55 years and over don't undertake life-saving courses:
1. Time
2. Cost
3. Exams or assessments
This program takes only an hour, is free of charge and has no exams.
Consider that research has revealed that over 70% of all cardiac arrests occur in the home. The decision to participate in the LIFE...Live it Save it! program may save the life of someone you know.
