The Creative Spaces project helped care home residents, living with Dementia, to feel less isolated from their community through the improvement of their garden and nature-based activities.
In addition, the staff felt more supported and young people from the community learnt to fear Dementia less. Friendships were formed, people were happier, more relaxed and felt valued in being part of something.
