As part of the Boosting the Local Care Workforce program, the Department of Social Services has released a range of resources on a new website.
These resources provide support for existing and potential NDIS service providers.
The web resources are structured around three main steps:
Step 1 EXPORE NDIS Opportunities
Step 2 START with NDIS
Step 3 GROW with NDIS
Resources available:
- NDIS Thin Markets Project
- Quality and safeguards
- Allied health
- Physiotherapy
- Getting started as an NDIS provider
The resources include the Care Sector Demand Map, an up-to-date forecast of the NDIS and Age Care demand by postcode across Australia.
The Care Sector Demand Map provides data on current NDIS and Age Care participation levels, spending, and services. The Map will help inform provider business decisions and promote growth in areas where it's needed. Increased provider coverage will enhance services and ensure that people can access the care they need now and in the future.
