Autism Connect is Australia’s first Autism Helpline delivering national service. It is a free service providing independent and expert information in a variety of formats.

The helpline is free. It provides information, advice and referral. It is available to anyone seeking support related to autism.

Amaze, the peak body for autistic people and their families in Victoria delivers the service. The NDIS has provided funding to expand the service across Australia.

Reach Autism Connect advisors via:

From 8 am to 7 pm (AEST), Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

They cover topics including:

  • exploring autism and autistic identity
  • assessment and diagnosis
  • school and education
  • the NDIS
  • behaviour strategies
  • referrals to services
  • peer support connections
  • finding autism-friendly places and events
  • making environments accessible
