The Australian Government is developing a National Disability Employment Strategy. The aim of the strategy is to address the disadvantage experienced by people with disability looking for work. They are seeking feedback. Submissions close at 9 am on 17 May 2021.

This strategy will be a 10-year commitment.

  • To increase the employment outcomes for people with disability.
  • To support more jobseekers with disability into long‑term, meaningful work.

The Government, through the Employment Strategy, aims to make meaningful changes to the delivery of supports to job seekers with disability. The strategy will also give confidence to employers to recruit people with disability.

The Government is seeking feedback and ideas on how they can achieve meaningful change. The feedback responses will inform the development of the Employment Strategy.

Your feedback is essential.

The Government can ensure the Employment Strategy focuses on the issues that matter most, with the achievement of positive outcomes.
