"The website is a grassroots initiative to support people with disability to recover from the bushfires, and access essential items and equipment that support their needs. By facilitating the community to list items that are readily available, we can fast track access and protect the mobility and dignity of anyone in need." Ms Palmer said.

"The eBility website fills a gap, while the NDIA gets its specialist assistance and equipment replacement processes in order. It means that people will be less isolated and maintain more of their independence in the wake of the fire emergency."

The items listed on this site have been donated or lent out for free for the use of people with disability affected by the bushfire crisis throughout Australia.

People with disability can also request wanted items - listing the essential equipment and gear needed to recover from the bushfires.
