Join us for an interactive, 2 part workshop to find work experience and meaningful, paid work for your secondary school student with disability.

We can't come to your home town, so we're coming to you online. 

Morning, afternoon and evening sessions available depending on the date (see flyer or website)

In 2 x 2.5 hour online workshops, you'll

  • Uncover the strengths and interests of your secondary school student
  • Connect these strengths and interests to potential work roles, with real world examples
  • Identify contacts in your community and networks to approach for work
  • Draft a positive pitch to get the job
  • Identify conditions that help set up a student for success in work
  • Get tips on working with other professionals or services
  • Explore what good employment support looks like
  • Learn how to find the right people to support your student
  • Connect with other families and hear their stories and ideas, and
  • Make a plan for your student in the workbook provided.

School to Work aims to inspire and equip students with disability, through the support of families, to seek meaningful, paid employment in the community.

Who is this workshop for?
Parents, family members, educators and allies of students with disability at secondary school.
