Self managing NDIS funding can seem daunting at first, so come along to feel supported, share what your doing and learn from others.

We can also offer ideas, stories and support for people wanting to establish or maintain a Circle of Support. A Circle of Support is a group of family and friends that gather around a person with a disability to help them achieve their life goals. The purpose for Circles of Support to meet can differ. Some form a Circle of Support to focus on inclusive education, getting a job, moving out of the family home…

Date: First Tuesday of the month

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Venue: Next Gen Health Club – 1 Riggall Place, Lyneham ACT 2602

Cost: Free

Self managing NDIS conversations can range from: Planning, budgeting, employing your own staff, claiming and many more topics.

Getting a circle up and running can be challenging so we’ve set up a peer support group  where families can share ideas around how to:

  • Find and ask people to join the circle
  • Running circle meetings
  • Setting goals and working together to achieve them
  • Networking with others in the community to develop ideas and bring about opportunities
  • And more
