ParaQuad NSW (Paraplegic and Quadriplegic Association of NSW) provides services and support to people living with spinal cord injury (SCI) and similar neurological disabilities. They support the educational and career goals of people with SCI and similar neurological disabilities through the provision of scholarships to people undertaking further study, including University, College, TAFE, VET study or RTO.

Scholarships are designed to assist ParaQuad members to engage in education and other programs and initiatives that enhance employability, life skills and meaningful community engagement.

Each ParaQuad NSW Scholarship is valued at up to $5,000. Applicants are asked to describe the courses, training or program/s they intend to undertake, the item/s they wish to use funds for, and the total funding required, up to the amount of $5,000.

Successful applicants may use funds to help cover the costs of participation in courses, programs or initiatives that lead to greater skills and independence.

Attached is the 2022 scholarship guidelines, along with a flyer that directs prospective applicants to the ParaQuad website, where you will find the application form.

Eligibility Criteria are outlined in the Program Guidelines. 

Application deadline: 14th February 2022.
