Blue Gum conducts several weekend adult camps throughout the year for adults and one 5 day camp for school ages between 11 to 20 year olds. All camps are held at Blue Gum Lodge in Springwood and have at least 1 nurse in residence Activities include swimming, outdoor games, archery, craft and daily discussions about the Christian faith.

CAMP BREAKAWAY: SAN REMO NSW

Area: Central Coast

Holiday camp for people with disabilities, based on central coast. Provides trained carers, registered nurses and a doctor on 24 hour call. General activities include entertainment and sailing. 3 Camps are held yearly. Accommodation is wheelchair accessible in ensuite cabins and is also available for use by other organisations for respite camps, seminars and functions. Large main hall for catered camps or smaller hall for self-catered camps, concrete paths for disabled access. BBQ/Picnic Area, Tennis/Basketball court, Tranquil Garden, 200 meters to lake. Close to clubs shopping centres and beach.

Camp David is held in April - November each year. Camp David is an integrated camp with non-disabled adults also attending to be special friends to campers with intellecutal disabilities 18 years and over. Camp Quality is a non-profit organisation that is committed to bringing hope and happiness to every child living with cancer, their families and communities through ongoing quality recreational, educational, hospital and financial support programs.

Our camping programs provide exciting activities for the children (aged from birth to 18years) to look forward to and gives them the chance to forget about their illnesses for a while. Each child is assigned an adult companion who looks after them whilst on camp and keeps in touch with them afterwards. Community base fundraising covers all costs.
