The WASH House and the Intellectual Disability Rights Service are partnering to deliver a project. Sydney University are doing the research (PAR – participatory action research) and evaluation.

Project Aim:

Parents will give direction to the project:

Parents who have a lived experience of a child placed in permanent care will inform the direction and decisions throughout the project.

Due to the nature of the PAR process we will not know what issues/content parents want to address in the resource until the initial data is collected from parents.

The type of resources developed will be determined by the participating parents.
