Our committee is made up of people from a diverse range of professional backgrounds. Each member has a disability or some life experience of disability. They also need the necessary skills to ensure appropriate governance of our organisation as we receive government funding to support the services we provide. Members of our committee provide their time and experience on a voluntary basis, coming from all walks of life across the state. We have representation from people living in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote communities within NSW.
From time to time the organisation has volunteers assisting us in a range of tasks. We welcome the contributions that volunteers can make. If you are interested in our organisation and would like to volunteer some time to assist us with our strategic objectives, please contact either the Regional Manager at mgr@ideas.org.au
The staff at IDEAS work from the two locations of our organisation and travel extensively throughout metropolitan and regional NSW.We have over 100 years combined work experience in the disability field. The staff are a proud team of knowledge managers keen to provide accurate information to people with disability so they can make informed decisions about their daily living; and we can pursue our organisation's goals.
